The You Night sisterhood offers year-round programs, activities, meetings and social events that help women stay connected and supported. Our activities cultivate group experiences that are empowering and uplifting. Research shows that women who are involved in socially active support groups have better health outcomes. Start a You Night Sisterhood chapter in your city, or join us at one of our upcoming get-togethers. Our local calendar is posted below, with descriptions of the various monthly programs we offer. Outings with a Purpose
The You Night sisterhood is committed to paying it forward to other organizations who align with our mission. You Night sisters are frequently seen in the community, offering love and support to other survivors. Throughout the year, we are involved in many community events: Relay for Life teams, fundraisers, and leadership development activities to name a few. We are an empowered force and have been called "Ambassadors of Enthusiasm". Nobody should try to make it through the cancer journey alone, and You Night sisters (having been there themselves) can offer love, support and resources.
Pillar Group Meetings
Pillars are a symbol of support and strength, and You Night's Pillar Group Meetings are held monthly as a touch-point for women who need connection and a place to share what is happening in their lives. Pillar groups are usually held at a home, with monthly topics, guest speakers and group discussions. Pillar Groups are a great way for women in the community to get to know other You Night sisters, and to get to learn more about our various programs.
You Night Out Monthly Socials
The purpose of You Night Out monthly socials is to foster continued relationships with the women we serve and their family members, and to foster relationships with our restaurant sponsors. We achieve this by paying it forward to them for their sponsorship by dining at their establishments and promoting their establishments in social media. You Night Out is a great way for women who are curious about our programs to get involved! Join us at our next outing! Get Acquainted Brand Awareness Meetings
The purpose of the "Meet the Model" meetings is to foster relationships with area hospitals and their nurse navigators. Monthly meetings rotate at various hospitals and are open to nurses, nurse navigators and female cancer survivors who are looking for more information on how to get involved with the various You Night programs. Alums who have participated in our programs attend and share their experiences so that prospective members can get insights as to why and how our programs can help them.
